Uchiyama manufactures parts for the automotive industry and the aim of the project was to increase its production and storage capacity.
For this purpose, the existing building was extended, with the construction of two new areas (2,035 m2 for storage and shipping and 280 m2 for the new staff block) and the construction of a new 4,845 m2 independent building for manufacturing and production areas.
All the work was carried out with the factory in operation, having been planned and executed so as to reduce its impact on the company's normal activities.
The expansion of the area of the existing building intended for storage was completed in only four months, in order to ensure that Uchiyama's more urgent needs could be met.
