The French multinational of the aeronautical sector AIRBUS Aerospace awarded Garcia the design and construction of its project in Portugal.

The new unit has an industrial area of 17 000 m2 for the manufacture and assembly of aeronautical structure subassemblies, mainly for the Airbus A320 NEO and A350 models.
The plant is divided into three functional areas: production area, social area and administrative block. The project was tailored to the standards of the demanding aeronautical industry and developed according to its production and workers' needs.
In addition to the above, the building was designed with the aim of obtaining BREEAM certification, which assesses the sustainability of the building throughout its life cycle. Of note in this regard is the centralised technical management system to manage all the building's parameters, the photovoltaic energy production system and the efficient air conditioning system.
