SNF, a global leader in the production of water-soluble polymers, has strengthened its presence in Portugal with the construction of a new industrial facility in Ovar. The project, awarded to Garcia Garcia, was developed under a Design & Build model and reflects the company's commitment to innovation and sustainability.

The new facility spans 9,300 m² and includes production, storage, and technical support areas, with a strong focus on energy efficiency systems. The building, constructed with precast concrete, was designed to meet industrial functionality requirements while ensuring thermal and operational comfort.

One of the project’s main challenges was the phased execution, which allowed the existing unit to remain operational throughout the construction. The infrastructure also incorporates technical solutions aimed at safety and environmental protection, including an optimized ventilation system, containment zones, and a wastewater treatment station.
