Lingote, one of the largest aluminium profile extruders in Portugal, with its origins in Fafe, and now part of the Corialis Group, is expanding its production area with the construction of a new plant.
The new unit has an area of 44,871 m2, which will be equipped with various features, including the new extrusion line and a new vertical lacquering line.

This project presented several technical hurdles that Garcia had to overcome, such as the need to have the site sufficiently prepared 6 months after project start so that the extruder's production machinery could be installed, tested and operational by the end of the project.
The presence of a river nearby meant that Garcia had to take several environmental precautions, including the need to create a raised platform of approximately 15,000m2 to prevent flooding and the constant need for waste control to ensure that nothing was damaged or polluted.
