The design and construction of this building had to accommodate two critical factors: the production of heat resulting from the manufacturing process and the specific weather conditions of its location, where high temperatures are recorded.
With these constraints, the technical solutions adopted included, among others, a system of adiabatic coolers interconnected with mechanical blowers and natural ventilation, allowing temperature and humidity to be corrected within the facility, allied to the use of insulating materials on the roof and façades and a brise-soleil system for the windows.
In this project, the infrastructure is outstanding for the system of collection and treatment of industrial effluents, with reuse of the washing water through a process of neutralisation by CO2. This system raises the levels of efficiency in water consumption to about ¼ of the consumption of a domestic process.
