The expansion is divided into two phases, the second of 8,000 m², in addition to the first phase, which totals 17,615 m². The project, located on an area of 78,000 m², includes 4,270 m² of warehousing, 990 m² of administrative areas, 8,755 m² of production area and 3,600 m² dedicated to offices, laboratories and social areas.With a focus on sustainability, the building is LEED certified and will be equipped with photovoltaic panels with a production capacity of 1MW/h, covering the entire new structure. The fire extinguishing system follows the standards of FM Global, recognised as one of the best international insurers.One of the biggest challenges was overcoming labour constraints and meeting strict deadlines, which was achieved by using prefabricated structures. The production area is fully air-conditioned and includes a 1,600 m² ‘clean room’ with strict temperature and humidity controls. The design of the offices has also been optimised to make the most of natural light, with a laminated façade oriented according to the sun.
